Jeff & Mica Olinghouse

Founders of New Life Metro Ministries International

Jeff and Mica Olinghouse are passionate about bringing the message of new life in Christ to today’s generation. In response to the call of God, they established New Life Metro Ministries International in 2018. For the past few years, they have been working on the practical steps of organizing a nonprofit while preparing to relocate to the very expensive Greater New York Metro area. They are currently itinerating and ministering together in preparation for their first church plant in New Haven, Connecticut.

Both Jeff and Mica are entrepreneurs and own their own businesses. Their flexible and remote work schedule provides them the opportunity to use their gifts and talents throughout the week to sustain their personal living and help support the work of the ministry. Their Biblical example of marriage, ministry, and work coming together for Kingdom purpose is taken from the Early Church leaders of Aquila and Priscilla, who were not only called jointly together in the ministry but also pioneered churches in different nations, discipled mighty believers, befriended church leaders, and worked with their gifts and talents in a secular industry. The Olinghouses believe the example of Aquila and Priscilla’s ministry sets a powerful standard for diligence and faithfulness in the home, the pulpit, and the marketplace.

Jeff and Mica have been married since 2012 and are enjoying the beautiful fruit of a marriage born by the Spirit of God in prayer and in God’s perfect time. They are both licensed ministers with Armada International in Nashville, Tennessee. The Olinghouses currently base their ministry and businesses out of Tulsa but are in the process of relocating to Milford, Connecticut as the Lord opens the door to that region.

Jeffrey Olinghouse

Listen to Jeff minister the Word on the New Life Metro YouTube Channel.

Jeff is passionate about winning the lost to the Lord and seeing them walk in the fullness of redemption. His personal testimony is a story of God’s transformational love—he was a true prodigal who experienced God’s miraculous restoration power! Because of his own testimony, he is able to minister to the brokenhearted in a practical and compassionate way.

Over the years, Jeff has cultivated the calling of a genuine shepherd’s heart through study of the Word and lifestyle application. He has been involved in many leadership capacities in the helps ministry of the local church and other para-church organizations including altar care, ushering, prayer, homeless outreach, hospital visitation, hospitality, small group ministry, mentorship, and short-term missions. Jeff has a true exhortation gift upon his life, which is displayed in his preaching and delivery style of the Word of God. He often flows in the gifts of the Spirit when ministering and is a person of deep prayer, spiritual sensitivity, and servant leadership. Jeff is also a graduate of the third-year Pastoral Ministry Program at Rhema Bible Training College.

Coming from the business world with over 25 years of experience in the travel industry, Jeff understands the complexities of organizational structure and marketplace integrity. His career background as a travel advisor has also expanded his global mindset, providing him with a depth of cross-cultural understanding and communication. His business has also given him the opportunity to work with many people of influence, especially in New York City. God is using Jeff’s connections in the marketplace as a doorway for the Gospel into global cities. Jeff currently owns and operates JSO Travel, a luxury travel agency.

Jeff is a licensed minister with Armada International and is currently finishing his degree online in International Business from Oral Roberts University. When Jeff is not ministering or working, he enjoys traveling, learning about new cultures, reading, and spending time with his wife.

The daughter of missionaries and pastors, Mica grew up in ministry and recognized the call of God on her life at five years old. She spent her teen years living on the mission fields of Sweden and France, where she attended an international high school and learned the French language. She graduated with honors from the International Baccalaureate program, an achievement attributed to God’s magnificent grace upon her life during her years on the foreign field.

Mica is a 2003 graduate of Oral Roberts University and holds a B.S. in Mass Media Communications and Print Journalism. She is also a 2005 graduate from the Pastoral Ministry Program at Rhema Bible Training College. Mica has continued to use her gifts and talents in the communication and editorial fields, working as both freelance writer and editor for several ministries and Christian organizations. She currently owns and operates Millennial Media, a creative agency dedicated to communicating the message of faith to the next generation.

Since her childhood, Mica’s heart for the sheep has been cultivated through study of the Word, life experience in ministry, and faithful service in the house of God. She has been involved in almost every department in the local church and other para-church ministries ranging from leading altar care and small groups to administration, communications, preschool, hospital visitation, hospitality, prayer, discipleship, young adult mentoring, and inner city outreach. She has a heart to bring wholeness to the brokenhearted and ministers in both truth and compassion. The evident gift on her life is that of a teacher, which enables her to bring clarity, instruction, and practical application to the ministry of the Word of God. She flows with her husband in the gifts of the Spirit and is a person of prayer, creativity, organization, and godly wisdom.
